Overview: Northern Light is a large scale search engine which index the web and traditional media
Northern Light opened its search engine in late 1997, but as a late competitor
to the search engine market, it offers access to documents that are particularly
popular with researchers including access to magazines,
newspapers and other non public resources which can be purchased for
a nominal fee. Regular public websites are searchable for free. In addition
to web searches, Northern Light offers Industry, News, Investment and other
types of specific searches. Recent studies have shown that Northern Light indexes
over 140 million documents, making it the largest search engine.
